Please see my response from the 401K. 401K is same as the retirement plan on in Canada. CME group offers a good package.

Defined benefit for employees 30 and older is very nice and uncommon in today's job market. Some other companies try to make it up by offering higher matching percentage in 401K, which never really make up the gap in my opinion. It only begins to kick in after 1 year of employment, and has a vesting period.
