This is an ok part of the job you do get a decent vacation system. I have about a month off of vacation after 8 years you get 1 week after your first year 2 weeks after 2 then 3 weeks after 8. You get 3 personal leave days after one year then 5 after 3 and 7 after 8 years. The up/down side of this is you can choose to break up the vacation into dailies up to two weeks but you have to keep them in weeklies after 2 weeks. The downside to the dailies and personal leave days are you have to put them in every time in the computer so if you want a Friday night off you’ll have to get lucky to be the first to put it in out of a lot of people that might want that day off and you can only put them in 21 days in advance. So you’re fighting for off days and not guaranteed to be home or make the layoff time to make your vacation or days off. So it’s good and really bad at the same time.

5 weeks of vacation for 10 years or more of service. Plus the option to buy additional week. Dependent on your job function vacation may be difficult to schedule.
