Tuition Assistance

I have applied for the Tuition Reimbursement program and can't agree with some of the complaints listed on here. I have been working for Caesars for approximately 3 years and have applied and received Tuition Reimbursement. I attend a University and I am majoring in Accounting. You can find the informational brochure online if you ask your supervisor (maybe HR if they aren't aware of the program). You need to submit the completed application 10 days prior to classes beginning, must earn a C or higher in those classes, and submit your grades/proof of payments within 30 days of classes ending. I received a confrontational email when emailing my scanned application and emailing the scanned grades/proof of pay. I even received a call the first time around to verify my grades and check that I had completed my paperwork. The application does state that you should expect to work a year after applying for the reimbursement and have time constraints as listed above. It can sound like a lot of work but nothing is free and even if you're applying for scholarships you have put in a little bit of effort. The way I see it is that essentially you're filling out paperwork and being paid 3000 max a year. I received my check in the mail two weeks after emailing my grades. I'm very thankful for this program because it helps me more feasibly finance school!

You need to work for 6 months and commit to working far beyond graduation to receive the assistance without penalty.

The program is very hard to get reimburse and when one faxed their paperwork over, one is never receive a respond, either yes or no or missing information or anything

They will pay for $3000 or so of tuition assistance, which could be nice for some online programs. (I didn't use it, so I dunno if you need to do a live/in person program or if online works.)
