Two options: 1) high deductible 2) higher deductible. Neither plan pays for ANY specialist visit until the absurdly high deductible is met. There is a funded expense account to offset the deductible. You can earn wellness money in the account. It does not come close to the deductible if you have any family in the plan.

The benefits shrink each year and costs go up

We used to have the best insurance but it has changed in the last 2 years. They prefer you to use your primary for everything. If you need a specialist you will pay a lot out of pocket.

The quality of the Medical was very good. I was able to keep my MDs and the hospital care was excellent.

The rates they have for the employees and families are very inexpensive

Inexpensive. Reputable companies, such as United Healthcare. Offered medical, dental and vision. The coverage was very comprehensive. Deductions right from pre tax pay.
