Limited contributions by "high income earners". If you earn $115k or more, you are limited to a contribution of a max of 9%. Company match is poor-the lowest I have ever encountered.

Absolutely lousy - they contribute only $2000 per year, but with a very high baseline for vesting. As they don't tend to keep consultants for long careers, this means that they get to claw-back their tiny contributions to an employee's 401(K) plan. Invariably, a consultant needs to remain with the company for at least 7 years to keep their small annual contribution to the employee's 401(K) plan. No exception is made for age, seniority etc... The only exceptions are the very senior executives, of course. Also, they absolutely deny any plan to Defer Income in order to minimize tax burden and increase Retirement Income.

If the match was any less generous, there wouldn't be a need for the match. It also takes 6 years to be fully vested.

Do not recollect actual contribution but it was not bad than nothing by some of the other smaller firms.
