WORK FROM HOME FLEXIBLE

Accordingly, we have two Workstyle designations available to our employees:
- A Remote Workstyle - The individual is not expected or required to work at an office unless needed for business purposes, individual preference, or other in-person collaboration.
- A Hybrid Workstyle - The individual may work on a hybrid schedule ranging from as few as 1-2 days per month to as many as 4-5 days per week in an office, depending on a combination of the nature of the role, current work requirements, manager expectations, and individual preference.

Programs & Initiatives
These programs encourage a healthy remote working environment.
Ciena will provide all newly hired full-time and part-time individuals (excluding students, co-ops, interns and temporary workers) regardless of whether Remote or Hybrid, with a one-time Workstyle Allowance that will be included in the individual’s first regular paycheck.
The purpose of this allowance is to supplement the standard IT home office technology package (including laptop, docking station, monitor, keyboard and mouse) and to offset the costs of establishing a workspace that accommodates performance of work tasks safely and efficiently outside of an Office environment.
