I have worked entirely from home for years. Great technology to support it and totally part of the culture.

Too much, need people to come in more often.

Work from home means come into office and keep working when you get home.

It's good to be able to work from home.

Moved to mobile almost 9 years ago. Great perk for families

Get rid of it, its abused. We had a chief of staff who lived in Tahoe! Saw her once in a blue moon. Asinine!

depends on the group/manager you work for. some place more focus on face-to-face which will require driving down in Bay area traffic - a pain !!!

If your department allows WFH, you can order hardware-based VPN gear to your house. You get corporate WiFi in your home. It's incredibly convenient and works just as if you were in the office. When you travel, you use software VPN on your laptop.

Unless you are required to be onsite for your job, you are largely encouraged to work from home. Optional to receive home gateway/router for business.
