It is a very sink or swim mentality when it comes to on the job training. Senior associates are tasked with training new associates but barely find the time to do so due to their work load pressure. Managers do not train anyone. They expect you to learn form their review comments which often don't lend any help.
There isn't much to get out of scheduled trainings either. Often they are ill-organized and the technology doesn't work.
The training catalogue is pretty indebt however. I typically used Google for most of my training though.
