401K Plan

401k is decent. There is some employer match but it is very little.

The employer match is kind of a joke - only 1%, with a vesting period - not very generous at all.

They have this for you in different percentages

1% match, might as well not even have it. HR disguises it and will not outright tell you that it's one percent. They avoid telling you when you ask them, and obfuscate the answer in all employee manuals and onboarding data. You have to disappointingly calculate that it's 1% on your own.

I opted out of the 401K but that's just because I am not ready for that commitment yet. However, I did read through the information and like any awesome company, they offer similar assistance in your plan.

you don't make enough to put anything into it

This multi billion dollar companies policy is to pay up to a 4% match but, they have never matched 4%. They only match 1% but management gets treated well and gets stock options and bonuses. Did I say it's a multi billion dollar company?
