15 years with the company and several districts, I have never heard of or eve the suggestion of eating left overs as your manager meal.

Management and par 4 employees get 35%. Everyone else gets 20%. District manager suggests managers eat leftovers for shift meal.

You get 20% off retail and restaurant purchases until you reach Par IV, at which point you receive 35%, which is nice around the holidays for purchasing gifts and decorations and such. They are also 'pleased to offer' a 50% on meals during your shift breaks - unfortunately it is a rare occurrence that you actually get to take an actual meal break.

Takes a year and a half to get more than 20%

When you hire on, you don't get a discount. However, after 1 month you get an eval. If you pass the eval, you take a PAR test (PAR program has 4 levels and is basically a short quiz on the computer to test your knowledge of job duties)If you pass the test, you get your first star (on your apron). The first star also comes with a 20% discount. You are entitled to an eval every 3 months, each potentially resulting in another star. When you reach 4 stars, you get a 35% discount and then evaluations come once a year.
