Usually corporate employees do a program that puts them in a store for a day or two, to learn how things work. The program isn't always structured to provide valuable domain knowledge, but it's still useful when it's a "hit" out of a "hit-or-miss" structure.
The tech org incentivizes some degree of learning through online subscriptions to resources like Pluralsight.

Long video oriented training process. Some of which is redundant or useless to your specific job. But it prepares you to be more flexible for the store in times they are short handed or are under payroll constraints from their district.

Offer alot of on the job training to get you ready for real customers. There are a number of videos you watch as well as online training you have to complete throughout your employment.

Throw you on the floor after watching a few tapes. You may get a few hours one-on-one training, but you will be placed into the"fire" very quickly. Sometimes you may be the only person in your department with only a weeks training.

Involved videos as well as on the job training by shadowing someone in your department for the first day
