First year $2500 minimum allocated to your account. 3 - 8% of pay depending on your age + service. If you start at your 20s, you will most likely start at 3% then the allocation will increase by 1% every 5 years. You need to wait 3 years to fully vest (which is the standard). Also, your account grows with interest, which is based on 30-year Treasury Rate but not less than 3.80%. The interest rate has been 3.80% for many years now.
There were a lot of folks who were against having the pension plan because they would rather have the money deposited into the 401(k) instead (Deloitte's 401(k) only offers $0.25 for every dollar of employee contributions up to 6% of pay or 1.5% - which is pretty sub-standard compared to other Big 4 firms) because people thought they could invest in market to generate better returns. Also, if you leave the firm prior to age 55, the money has to stay with the plan until you are 62 (again, the money only grows based on 30-year Treasury Rate).
The only reason the firm would keep the employees' pension the way it is is because the employees' pension plan helps pass certain statutory requirements for the partners' and directors' pension plans.
Therefore, I would not be overly excited about having a pension plan in this case.

5% of your gross is put in the pension plan after 3 years of service. It generates 3.8% interest per year till you stat taking out at age 62. Good one!

You automatically get a pension plan when you start. Again, I've gathered that pensions are pretty hard to come by lately, so it's nice that they have one.
