Recently the paternity leave was refreshed to be inalignment with industry and is now 6wks. However maternity leave is still much lower than industry. Draper offers 8 weeks maternity leave whereas industry standard seems to be around 16 weeks.

Maternity is paid for 8 weeks, even when not eligible for government leaves. Paternity is paid for a few days and this is fairly recent. Additional unpaid maternity and paternity leaves are more easily accommodated among engineering staff than administration staff.

They added paternity leave which is great. It is better than most companies around.
