Manager was really good about letting me and others have time off. You would just need to tell him before hand. I went on vacation for a week and got the appropriate time off. However, there was the chance that an employee wouldn't show up or got fired and the manager or another employee would call you on vacation begging you if you could come back earlier.

If you wanted time off you would just need a two week notice in advance or find someone to cover you if there was no advance notice.
