Volunteer Time Off

Eckerd Connects and affiliated Organizations encourage their staff to give back to their community. To this end, Eckerd Connects will provide a limited amount of paid time to employees for the purposes of volunteering in the community.

• All regular, full-time employees that have completed the initial Introductory Period will be eligible to earn Volunteering Time (“VT”).

• All eligible employees will receive 8 hours (1 day) of VT at the beginning of each calendar year.
• Volunteering Time is time eligible employees may use to take time off work to volunteer away from Eckerd. VT is compensated at the normal rate of pay.
