Short term disability (STD) is available at no cost for employees working at least 40 hours per pay period. It provides partial income replacement, up to a maximum of 65%, if absent due to non-work-related illness or injury lasting up to 26 weeks.
Long term disability (LTD) is available at no cost for employees working at least 60 hours per pay period. It provides continuing income up to 60% of monthly earnings, not to exceed $10,000, if unable to work for at least 180 days as a result of a serious illness or injury.
