We get 10 sick days paid time every year

Counted from a different time-pool than vacation days. All sick days are available at the start of each year, so you don't have to "earn" them. No ability for them to roll-over year-to-year to account for years with little illness/injury and protect against years with greater need.

Standard 10 days a year. Have never needed them all yet, but they're good to have when needed. Can be used for dentist, doctor, and hospital trips for my and my family.

Two weeks of sick time, usually more than enough for people.
