Two weeks PTO, one week sick leave. None of it carries over year to year. Health insurance is overpriced for what your deductible and coverage is. Remote work policy is garbage; the entire company is clock-and-dagger about it. You’re not allowed to really talk about it openly either. Some corporate teams get to work remotely twice a week while others do not. (Mind you, this isn’t for logical reasons. I understand some teams cannot physically be off-site. This is not what I am referencing here). They call it “decentralized decision making” - I call it treating your employee base without consideration of equity both perceived and implied. Offered salaries are much, much lower than competitors such as Grainger, MSC, etc. There also isn’t a performance review system. What does this mean for most employees? A raise once every two three years, if you’re lucky. No raises if you’re not. This is not where experienced people go. This is where experienced people leave. My salary jumped by almost 40% when I left to do my same job elsewhere.
