The 401K plan has a company match that is very generous. The plan is administered by Vanguard who is known for having some of the lowest administrative fees in the industry so the employees keep more of their savings/lower fees.

Only Managers and exempt employees are given a matched 401. Other employees has to be there for a year before they can elect 401 but, FedEx does not match it tghough
