the rules ether by law or by design is so anti employee benefits that it almost don't pay .

Vanguard is the company they use for the 401k. I love this company. They send you a statement every month detailing what your money is doing. And you don't loose it after you have left the company. I still check on my investments and retirement money monthly.

Great company match, but the company match gets suspended when Senior Management chooses.

FedEx uses Vanguard, which is highly rated by many different independent sources. I love that FedEx uses Vanguard.

The best thing about Fedex's 401k plan is that the company will match their employee's contribution.

Best thing about the benefit package is that they match a certain percentage of what you put into your 401k.

Matches the first 1% you contribute, and a .5% for every 1% you contribute for the next 5%. Put in 6% total and FedEx gives you 3.5%.
