Voluntary Short-Term Disability Insurance (STD)
You can purchase Short-Term Disability (STD) insurance to provide income if you become disabled due to an injury or illness.
Benefits begin on the 8th day of any injury, hospitalization or illness and can continue for up to 13 weeks.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
You can purchase Long-Term Disability Insurance (LTD) coverage.
LTD coverage provides income when you have been disabled for 90 days or more. Your benefit is 60% of your monthly earnings, up to $6,000 per month.
