Standard dental insurance. Adult braces are not covered.

Dental insurance is one of our best benefits. You must have healthcare insurance to opt into Dental. $150 deductible, 80/20 after that with up to $2,000 a year paid out. All the preventative work such as cleanings are free.

Metlife Dental sucks. They don't even give you a dental insurance card. I am not sure if you can print one on the website, because I am the spouse, and have very limited access to account information, unlike with the GE medical plan, which gives you full access to your own account info. Only GE employees are allowed to register for an online Metlife Dental account. I don't even have our group number. I had a dentist appointment today, and because I didn't have my spouse's SSN, they didn't want to treat me because they couldn't verify the insurance info, even though I had Metlife's contact number. My spouse is out of the country, so I couldn't ask him. I don't remember my husband's SSN off the top of my head, and he doesn't remember mine. Metlife, your policies are asinine and make really simple things complicated.
