Sick Leave

Generous with the sick days. i was happy too have it but you have to be full-time to get offered it.

If you don't work then you don't get paid point blank. You can call in sick but that's it. Ironic since it's a health store usually.

Great perk, having the chance to input sick days into your 40 hour work week and get paid for that is pretty nice also.

You get sick days, but you can’t use them if you can’t find coverage for the store.

Whether you were sick or not you could have off or sometimes they’d make you come in because of no man power.

For part time employees, they follow whatever the state law is for sick days. If your state doesn't have a paid sick leave law- you don't get them.

When you need it, you can't use it. The stores are so skeletonized that getting coverage while your sick is just a nightmare. The only way I got to use any this year was when I got strep throat at the beginning of the year, when my girlfriend had to have emergency surgery, and when I passed out in the store from food poisoning and dehydration.

30 hours of sick pay available every year

Every time that I was sick, even if it was short notice my manager either found someone to cover my shift or worked it for me. Very nice guy.
