Health insurance covers the majority of PCPs within the area. Dental and Eye insurance are affordable and cover routine visits.

Seems to cover a lot. Premiums go up annually, with a large increase from 2019 to 2020, but still pretty cheap

The best part of their health care, is that if you go to a Geisinger facility, you only have to pay a $10 co-pay. Before I worked for them, my previous employer had Geisinger insurance and we had to pay a $25 co-pay.

They own both hospital system and the insurance company. Co-pays are cheaper if within the hospital-insurance system

Benefits slowly eroding. Being a full integrated healthcare provider you would expect low cost healthcare benefits with good coverage for employees, but the opposite is true. Cost of care is only reasonable ONLY if you go to a Geisinger partner or "partnered" provider. If not be prepared to pay $$$, high premiums, very high deductibles. Close to $5000 deductible for some family plans. This goes both the HMO and PPO style plans. Less than idea for folks who don't live near any of their facilities. For those that do, getting appointments is usually frustrating and waits are long. Something to think about if you have a family.
