No vision, No dental. They only provide full coverage of the old version of medicine but not the latest one.

I did now get any health insurance from George Washington University. Actually, I was asked to my an Aetna insurance by myself. The insurance I buy is very expensive and does not worth it.

Covered health insurance but they specify the insurance company. The plan is basic.

The current deductible for the HSA plan (2018 and 2019) is $2,000 for an individual with 20% out of pocket costs once your deductible is met. Having had a $0 deductible in my previous plan and a flat $20 copay for the same monthly payment, this seems egregious given the volume discount GW should be able to negotiate with an insurance company. Admittedly, insurance is not my specialty but I assume this is how a company negotiates subsidized plans. At any rate, United Healthcare is accepted at most practices in the area, which is nice, but a simple office visit usually costs over $200. As someone without any chronic illnesses, this plan made more sense than the PPO with a higher monthly payment (but slightly lower deductible), however, in my opinion, both options leave a lot to be desired and I find myself not going to the doctor for follow up appointments to avoid the additional out of pocket cost.
