Had three options for coverage, Kaiser Permanente was lowest cost, Care First was middle tier and United was the most expensive. I went with Care First and received decent coverage for a decent price.

There are plenty of different health care plans to choose from. Georgetown does a great job matching and paying the bulk of your insurance.

I paid less for the same insurance at a company in the private sector. I do not feel that GU offers amazing benefits. They offer the standard services, but they take a large bite out of your not so generous salary.

Choice of Kaiser Permanente or United Health Care. Both are very good. Georgetown University Hospital is first-rate.
