The HSA plan has a 3000/6000 out of pocket maximum. My spouse used it up the first month and now everything's free for her. I had to quit to take care of her, and the COBRA for both of us costs approximately $1000/month, plus the $3,000 out of pocket. And since it's cobra, it can be paid for through the HSA so our entire healthcare is $15,000 per year, and is tax deductible. Under the circumstances, that is truly outstanding!
