Different for staff versus attorneys

Maternity benefits are good. It’s unfortunate that the attorneys receive more time off than non-attorneys. Birth is just as difficult for everyone regardless of position and it would be nice if the firm thought it prudent to treat everyone’s life experience equally.

It's 6 weeks. Pretty standard, but not exactly a long time! Fathers get similar paternity leave. I think those who go on leave end up needing time to ramp back up.

12 weeks in total. 6 weeks of parental leave with partial pay and 6 weeks short term disability with partial pay.
