Maternity & Paternity Leave

Sucks, they have UNUM insurance. So being a 10 days postpartum you need to follow up with HR about your maternity leave, the sucking insurance of all times.

HCL does give good maternity leave but not so much paternity leave

I recently took a week of paternity leave.

Paid leaves for 3 months which can be extended to 4 months along with medical certificate. The leave can be applied one month prior to the Expected date.After the 4 months a child raising leave is given untill the child turns 6months old this child raising leave is not a paid leave. The leave should be increased to 6months with the option of availin the leave 2month before the due date, also the non paid leave can be extended until the child is a year old.

No paid maternity, paternity or sick leave. 20 days AL only.

They give paid maternity leaves.

Pretty OK policies in place.

You may get the appropriate leaves whenever required.
