HDR offers a benefits package that's pretty standard across the industry for a company with a stature like HDR's.

As an intern you don't get heath insurance but I have heard that they offer good plans compared to other companies

Overall the health insurance benefits are outstanding. My wife works in healthcare and knows more about health insurance than I do - she said HDR's health insurance coverage is consistently some of the best she's seen. She is repeatedly impressed with how many decisions HDR makes that help employees even if it costs the company a little more.
Some notable details: in addition to traditional plans, they offer high-deductible plans with Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), and each year HDR will contribute to your HSA: $900 (for single coverage) or $1,800 (for family coverage), as of 2018. The in-network deductible for 2018 is $3,500 for single coverage or $7,000 for family. HDR uses Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska since HDR's headquarters are in Omaha, Nebraska.

Very reasonably priced, not a huge deductible

Health Insurance in itself is the reason for high medical care. The benefits offered by the company are fine but not great because great insurance is a thing of the past.

Great health care insurance coverage. It also includes international coverage too for the family. You will have to contribute to the plan and I think the way the contribution system is set up is very fair.
