These programs encourage a healthy remote working environment.
Hain offers paid time off to salaried employees who donate time and skills to support our local communities while strengthening our existing product donation and in-kind philanthropy efforts.
Pursuant to VTO, employees may spend up to eight hours (one working day) per calendar year volunteering with a 501 (c)(3) or a T3010 registered charity during working hours.
Allotted VTO may be used as follows:
- Two half-days off for group volunteer activities, sponsored by Hain (four hours each for a total of eight hours)
- Eight hours off for a personal volunteering by the employee
