TalentLaunch offers up to 5 consecutive days for bereavement leave for the death of an Immediate Family Member. An employee who wishes to take time off due to the death of an Immediate Family Member should notify their supervisor as soon as possible. In any case, bereavement leave must be taken within three months of the loss.
Immediate Family Members are defined as spouses, domestic partners, first degree relatives (parents, siblings, and children, including those of domestic partners), grandparents, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws of the same types, adoptive parents, adopted children, legal guardians, legal wards, and half or step relatives. Bereavement Leave is also available for those grieving a fertility- adoption or surrogacy-related loss. Bereavement requests for non-family members will be handled on a case by case basis.
