They are self insured, and the cost to have anything don is exorbitant for what the benefits cost. They insist that the cost is due to current politics, which seems a little slanted to me. Getting them to pay a spouses claims or a dependents claims is an exercise in futility, the continuously deny the claims for second party insurance, even after repeated calls to verify that there isn't any.
