Over time the options for coverage decreased. The copay increased to 20% for all procedures and hospital stays. The deductibles increased to $1000 to $5000, depending on which plan was chosen.

The health insurance premiums are extremely low. The plan I chose cost 0.75% of my annual salary, which was 29,000. I paid about 215 in premiums the entire benefit period

The worst thing about the health plan is that you have to be insured through Highmark, knowing they deny or delay payment of claims, and as a customer service rep one of your primary duties is stonewalling members.

Health insurance benefit is merely competitive. Employees are forced to participate in healthy initiatives of the day.

our coverage was not as good as it once was. we got less and less every year and had to complete health screenings at the work place to qualify for coverage.
