Employee Discounts

The employee discount is phenomenal! In order to get the discount, the hotel you want to stay at must have availability so I would say the worst part about it is that it isn't always available. I don't even consider that a con since you'd have to pay full price anyway and they don't have to give you the perk in the first place. The discount was well worth working for Hilton, IMO.

Blackstone market place allowed you to purchase many different product on line for hugh discounts

Hilton was supposed to improve this program when I started 5 years ago and they still haven't done anything about it apart from slightly change the website. It is one of the benefits they sell when you apply for a position but it is a false sell as it's virtually impossible to get the discounted staff rate unless you book a year to the day in advance.
