Disability Insurance

The Company offers Short and Long Term disability benefits that are 100% company paid. The Company provides time off with pay to employees with a personal illness or injury requiring absences from work in excess of five consecutive workdays. Employees receive a certain amount (100% or 75%) of their income while on a short term disability leave depending upon how long they have been employed with IAT. The benefit starts at 30 days for new hires and increases gradually based on years of service up to 90 days. If the disability extends beyond 90 days, the employee can receive 60% of their pre-disability income through the long term disability plan.
