The match rate for the 401K is terrific, unfortunately no pension as had been provided years ago, but nearly no company can afford to provide that now.

IBM raised salaries and put a higher percentage into 401K when they discontinued old fashion retirement benefits. I cannot estimate the impact of this change, but I feel more empowered to take it with me, if I go.
