Dental insurance is best if you use in-network dentists.

Thanks for your feedback. It's always a good idea to seek out in-network providers for medical, dental and vision to get the best value out of your plan. Out of network providers are an option too but you may pay more. -AP

Current plan is not accepted by dentists in the local area, so you only receive out of network benefits - better than nothing.

Since I only ever get the twice a year cleanings, it was a toss up whether to get the dental insurance. I ended up getting it and have never had any problems with coverage or processing.
