Excellent work from home practice, implemented differently in each division or office. However, because the program is so flexible, it is often difficult to communicate during core work hours. There are no core work hours. The downside of such flexibility can be an expectation of 24/7 availability.

They provide work from home only for the full-timers not for contractors

Employees can work from home as needed, and many employees also have a telecommuting schedule every week.

This varies greatly within ICF and also depends on your function. My group was actually made full-time telecommuters in order to lower the price of a contract (so that we'd win it), but prior to that we were allowed to work from home a couple days a week and/or as needed.

Managers are very understanding when you need to work from home because you are feeling sick.
