They did have a few classes you could drop in for but I think they have more offerings for full time employees

Not really good. Managers are not really versed in providing career advice. Internal training works only for new hires. Additional professional development is up to the employee. Sometimes the IMF will pay for external training, but the approval can be difficult. Little to no upward career advancement in a very hierarchical institution.
