They match up to only 4% of what you apply to it. So if you have 4% of your weekly paycheck taking for the 401K plan, they company matches that same dollar amount that you applied. I don't know what other companies do, so I thought this was great. I've always received letters in the mail about my 401K plan. They do a though job on making sure it's done right.
