Occupational Accident Insurance

It's cheap, maybe $20 a month, taken out of your paycheck before taxes. But they try to push more insurance plans on you that you may not need and the amount can get expensive. I knew another woman who had this insurance and worked the night shift in Ohio (she worked in New Castle then was asked to transfer to Ohio for night shift at that time), so was driving other employees home too, and after dropping them off, fell asleep at the wheel and crashed. She did receive a nice check, like $20,000 from the accident insurance while she was in the hospital and the company willingly let her work when she got better. (She had to get back surgery and a few others) So she came back for a few months because I think she was MADE to in order to receive some kind of money (she only briefly discussed it with me) and she quit soon after. She worked for several years there before that happened.
