The Performance Bonus is split into areas like attendance, leadership, positive attitude, on time reports, recaps, deliverables, if the emails were submitted on time, to the correct recipients, were there any misspellings, etc... Did the employee participate in any company events. Did the employee submit professional and personal goals for the month, and so on. Each area is worth money and deducted from the Performance Bonus if not achieved. It is also subjective to who is doing the evaluation. For example, if the activities performed by the employee are not considered to have benefited the company, the employee is deducted money from his Performance Bonus.
