I do appreciate that there is a tuition benefit at all. They offer the max allowed of $5250 per year depending on your employment status. There are also opportunities for scholarship or grant type money through some of the supporting entities of the system. This might be magical thinking, but boy it would be wonderful if there was a benefit that helped pay down student loans. I know that type of benefit is cropping up in other places. That comes from when I was bitter to find out months after completing my BSN that they increased the tuition benefit from $2500 to the now $5250, so I went in to multiple student loans that could be over $10,000 less than they are today over some mind blowing timing. Not like we got raises for that BSN achievement to mitigate it... Just sayin.

Pays the federal non-taxable max of $5,250/yr for almost any degree.

Nurses get the best. They don't cover, seminars, certifications or on line classes.
