Extremely expensive, mandatory through union contract. Monthly payments for insurance begin on day one although benefits cannot be used until after 90 working days. About 4 months, and by then approximately $1700.00 has been taken from your paycheck for healthcare you cannot use. The enrollment was a very difficult process. HR is of no help, they tell you to contact your union.
