Benefits paid by health insurance were much lower than other insurance plans I've had. This meant more out of pocket expense for me.

Excellent benefits all around - health, vision, dental, group life insurance, AD&D, 401k, Critical Illness insurance, accident insurance, long-term disability offered, and all very reasonably priced compared to many other places, really going to miss that.

HSA plan offering is a good deal from a cost perspective. It can be very useful if you have low overall medical costs but it can also be attractive for employees who have high costs but want to limit those to a fixed outlay. Current max out of pocket for family costs in network is $3000. Company contributes to the HSA account yearly in January.

Great acceptance in the Raleigh, NC area. Full preventative coverage and decent copays, as well.

The monthly premiums are too high for the health services offered. The health offerings are not very good.
You can't really go out of network. If you do go out of network, you are basically paying everything out of pocket.
You are required to register online and answer health related questions in order to get a "discount". You must show improvement in your health in order to maintain the discount.
The dental insurance used to be good. It later got bad. The first year using the new dental insurance you have to pay a lot out of pocket and you have to go to the dentist and get a check-up and cleaning in order to get a discount the following year.
This kind of plan rewards seems to penalize new employees.

Itron has several medical insurance options. One of them is a health savings account with reasonable premiums and deductibles.
