The 401k matching plan is a nice benefit. Though it should really be referred to as the Company Forced Leave of Absence Fund. Drop below 100% billability and you will be forced to take a LOA. Spend 10 years of service at 100% billable and you are thanked with a weekly paycheck. Spend back to back weeks below 100% and expect the LOA discussion to begin the 3rd week. Thank God for the 401k / LOA Plan!

Match up to 3% if you contribute 6% nothing on their own without employee contribution .

The 401K match is minimal - the bare minimum to say they offer it.

Match tops at 3%, but at least it is with Vanguard and therefore has some standard low cost funds.

It's a retirement plan. Nothing spectacular. 50% match up to 6% of my salary.
