Company puts a very high emphasis and premium on being physically in the office. Face-time, 5 days a week in the office, is very important here.
During Camp Fire, the HR sent emails to everyone telling them they're expected to be physically in the office, unless they take FTO. That's the level at which physical presence is required.
That said, if one is lucky with their direct boss, working from home during exceptional periods (for example, after a baby), may be possible in limited amounts.
