I actually had to quit and take a job where I could afford the benefits. You had to take these "optional" surveys online but your health. These lead to possible raises in insurance premiums. I don't smoke, i worked out regularly, but my husband has high blood pressure and was over weight. He had to talk to a counselor every Friday at 5. At this time he was working outta town and missed 2 phone calls. The next month $900 was taken out of my check for insurance costs, no joke. So the next month a similar situation happened and the same amount was taken out.

Health insurance is good, a little pricey compared to other regional options but the free lab work is a huge plus. Good incentives such as the fitness reimbursement program, stock options at a discount and 401K contributions by the company.

There are several good things about LabCorp benefits: 1. the health insurance is one of the lowest premiums I have seen for most companies is this area (provided you pass the BMI results, and this is a very big con for many people), 2. the vacation time is one of the highest allowed in this area, and 3. getting all your lab work for free is very beneficial.

Lab Corp gives your 3% match every 2 weeks/every pay day vs. Waiting an entire year for your money to work for you.
Worst thing maybe the cost if health insurance for a family. It's not to bad.
