You accrue on every paycheck and the more years you spend with them, the more those hours allocation get bigger.

You accrue your PTO, so if you don’t have enough accrued, you don’t get paid time off. First year you get something like 5.14 hours each pay, second year you get 7.14 each pay. This is sick and days off. You need to ask permission to take off and it is reluctantly granted. On snow days, you’re expected to be in the office unless it’s closed, which is very rare.

I'm definitely loving the amount of paid time off that this company offers

To start out, you receive 18 days of combined PTO (sick/vacation) that is accrued over the year. After 2 years, you are bumped up to 23 days and it increases again at 6 years, and so on.
